Calcite Grinding and Processing

There are many types of calcite grinding processing techniques, including coarse powder processing, fine powder processing, ultra-fine powder, and micro-powder processing, to meet the needs of calcite powder in different fields. This process has the advantages of simple structure, low power consumption, high efficiency, convenient installation, and maintenance, and can produce calcite powder products with uniform fineness and stable quality. Calcite can be used to make industrial raw materials such as cement, lime, and glass. It can also be used as a filler and reinforcing agent in building materials, plastics, rubber, coatings, and other industries.

Processing scheme

  • The calcite is usually crushed in jaw crushers and cone crushers. The size of the crushed ore needs to meet the feeding fineness requirements of the grinding mill, which is generally between 15mm and 50mm.
  • During the grinding process, the parameters of the grinding mill need to be adjusted according to the required powder fineness, such as grinding roller gap, grinding disc speed, etc. Raymond mill or high-pressure suspension roller mill can be selected.
  • The classifier can separate powders into different fineness grades. The unqualified powder will be classified by the classifier and returned to the main machine for re-grinding to ensure that the fineness of the powder meets the requirements.
  • The classified calcite powder will enter the dust collector through the pipe with the airflow for separation and collection. The powder after screening and dust removal can be packaged, and pay attention to dust prevention during the packaging process.
