Raymond Mill Introduction

Formally known as the Raymond Series Suspended Roller Mill, this machine is a classic and mature industrial powder processing equipment, serving as a foundational model for modern medium-speed grinding mills. Its core positioning targets small-to-medium-scale production lines for non-metallic mineral powder processing. Its objective is to stably produce fine powders ranging from 80 to 425 mesh (approximately 0.045–0.18 mm) with cost-effectiveness and easy operation.
Simply put, it currently stands as the primary workhorse for processing medium-low hardness non-flammable and non-explosive materials such as limestone, calcite and barite.

Raymond Mill

Working principle

• Machine Positioning: This medium-speed suspended roller mill is a classic mainstream industrial pulverizing equipment. It serves as an efficient replacement for traditional ball mills and an economical alternative to high-end vertical roller mills. It processes non-flammable, non-explosive materials with Mohs hardness ≤ 7, producing fine powder at 80–425 mesh (≈0.045–0.18 mm), with customized versions reaching 800 mesh. 
• Working Principle: Pre-crushed materials are evenly delivered into the main grinding chamber. Under centrifugal force, grinding rollers press tightly against the grinding ring, while scrapers lift materials into the roller-ring gap for compression and pulverization. Airflow conveys ground powder to the classifier for screening: coarse particles return for regrinding, and qualified fine powder is collected via cyclone separation to finish the whole grinding cycle.
