Calcium carbonate Grinding and Processing

Calcium carbonate grinding processing is a process in which ore is converted into calcium carbonate powder with different fineness requirements through a series of technological processes. This powder has a wide range of applications in various industries such as construction, plastics, rubber, coatings, etc. With the advancement of science and technology and changes in market demand, calcium carbonate grinding processing technology is constantly updated and improved to meet the needs of different industries for calcium carbonate powder.

Processing scheme

  • First, remove impurities and gangue from calcium carbonate raw materials. The pretreated calcium carbonate raw materials enter the crusher for coarse crushing, breaking them into smaller stones for subsequent grinding operations.
  • The crushed calcium carbonate small pieces are uniformly and quantitatively sent into the grinding chamber through the conveying equipment. During the grinding process, they are ground into fine powder through the interaction of the grinding roller and the grinding ring until the required particle size is reached.
  • The ground calcium carbonate powder need to be classified by a classifier. The powder that meets the particle size requirements enters the next stage as a product, while the powder that does not meet the requirements will be returned to be ground again.
  • Calcium carbonate powder that meets the fineness enters the dust collector with the airflow for separation and collection. The collected finished product powder passes through the discharge port and is sent to the finished product silo by the conveying device. After screening and dust removal, the powder can be packaged.
