The data shows why MTW138 is the best-selling model worldwide: it delivers 20 t/h with a 90kW main motor, the same 0.22 t/h per kW efficiency as the much larger MTW175, but at a far lower entry investment. For medium-scale producers, it is simply the hardest-working value in the series. At the top end, MTW215 pushes the ratio to 0.23 t/h per kW, making it the most economical choice for bulk production where every ton of output counts.
With a 55kW main motor and a 1100x210mm grinding ring, the MTW110 fits small-scale plants, pilot projects and startup grinding businesses. If your target output is below 10 t/h, this is the economical answer.
The 1380x260mm grinding ring accepts feed up to 35mm and delivers the best capacity-to-power ratio in the series. It is the default recommendation for regional powder producers processing limestone, calcite, barite, talc or gypsum at 200-325 mesh.
Its 520x300mm rollers and 1750mm ring accept feed up to 40mm, which matches the discharge size of a standard jaw crusher and saves you an intermediate screening stage. Field data from a Southeast Asian limestone plant shows a stable 31 t/h at 250 mesh — see the case in Section 6.
With a 640x340mm roller, a 2150x340mm ring and feed up to 45mm, it is built for centralized powder production bases and large mining complexes where single-line throughput determines unit cost.

Capacity gets most of the attention, but feed size often decides the total line design. MTW110 requires feed no larger than 30mm; MTW138 accepts 35mm; MTW175 accepts 40mm; and MTW215 accepts up to 45mm. If your crusher discharges 40mm material, choosing MTW110 or MTW138 means adding a screening or secondary crushing step — an extra cost that can be larger than the price difference between models. Always match the mill's feed limit to your crusher output, not the other way around.
A building materials enterprise in Southeast Asia replaced its traditional mills with a Mascot MTW175 complete line in August 2025, processing limestone at ≤40mm and ≤5% moisture into 250-mesh powder.
